Ilsa by Julep

Now that it is cold, dreary winter time, dark nails tend to be on trend. Not that I conform to dark nails in the winter and bright in the summer cult ideal, I just like how they pair with the season. I went for a deep, ink blue this week. Julep's Ilsa is a gorgeous cream dark blue, and an extremely high quality polish. It is dark as night within the first coat. I did one touch up just to take photos, and was wearing it for a full week before hand. The top coat I used is so shiny that you can see the reflection of the sky in my nails! And, if you can't tell, there is snow on the ground behind my hand. It is freezing here on the East Coast of America. If you are looking for a dark blue polish to go in your collection, choose Ilsa. The great formulation makes it worth it 100%.

Julep's Ilsa:
- Dark, ink blue.
- Cream polish.
- Only 1 coat needed.
- Lasted a week.
$10 on Amazon

Top Coat:
Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel Top Coat (No UV light needed)
$8 at local CVS

-Do you tend to wear dark polish in the winter, and bright in the summer? What have you been wearing on your nails recently?-

  1. I don't have any ink black shades in my collection! Definitely one to look out for!
    I think I'll go for a pearly nude this month, I can't tell why but there's a year I haven't worn it! :)

    1. It's a great formulation too. And funny you say that, because that's what I'm painting my
      nails with this morning! :)
