COLOR:
I use the color vanilla, or light2. In the second to lightest shade, vanilla is perfect for lighter Caucasian skin due to its pink undertones. Although I have been using this shade since last November, I think I will be moving up to Custard soon, as I tan through out the summer.NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer comes in ten different shades.
The lighter shades: Chantilly, Vanilla, Honey, Custard, Ginger.
The darker shades: Biscuit, Caramel, Amande, Cafe, Cacao.
On the NARS website, you can drag and compare the shades of
concealer if you're not quite sure what is right for your complexion.
APPLICATION:
The concealer comes in a tube, almost like a lip gloss, and has a do-fut wand for application. Applications is easy, especially on the go. If your in a rush just dot some under your eyes and blend away. If you have more time, applying the concealer to spots and blending with a beauty blender or a brush works even better. I just adore the packaging and how its so versatile, you can use it anywhere and all you need is clean hands!COVERAGE:
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is a very build able coverage. In the photos below I show a swatch of the concealer in Vanilla, and then the swatch blended out. As you can see, my freckle is gone and many of my veins have also been covered. The concealer neutralized the blue color to my veins and almost completely diminished the little freckle. A couple dots around the red areas by your nose, a little bit of blending, and it's almost like the redness never existed!
COST:
Now, this concealer would be considered "high end" as it is almost $30 for a tube. But, I feel it's worth the price. Instead of going through a couple of $10 concealers from the drug store, save and buy one. It can last you a longer duration than many drugstore concealers, since the quality is fantastic and a little goes a long way. Although I may look for dupes in the future if you really do not feel it is worth the NARS price!
♥Whats your favorite concealer? Or do you even wear concealer at all? I'd love to know!♥
I've been dying to try this concealer, everybody and their mother is raving about it! Still, the one thing that keeps holding me back is the price. Maybe I'll finally invest for this summer!
