What do you Prefer? Covergirl Lashblast Fusion or Clump Crusher

COVERGIRL LASH-BLAST FUSION V. CLUMP CRUSHER

When taking a walk down the makeup aisle at my local drugstores, I'd say 75% of the wall is covered in mascara. There's volumizing mascara, lengthening mascara, "better than fake lashes" mascara, fiber mascara, natural mascara, waterproof, smudge proof, everything proof. It is literally one of the most hard decisions to make! Sometimes brands create two types of mascara that look different, but may even be the same. I took the time to take Covergirl's Lash-blast Fusion and Clump Crusher mascaras and compare them. Which will you choose?  -Click for pictures and description!-

COVERGIRL LASH-BLAST FUSION:

In the indigo packaging, Covergirl Lash-blast is a thick mascara, geared towards giving your lashes volume. The Lash-blast's applicator is chubby and straight, with many short, plastic bristles. The application is just as any other mascara, but provides nice volume just as it claims. Some of my lashes clumped together, although I feel they still kept a full look. 

COVERGIRL CLUMP CRUSHER:

In the green packaging, Covergirl Clump Crusher is a very creamy mascara, encouraging what it promotes, minimal clumps in your lashes. The applicator, unlike Lash-blast, is very long and curved. The application is smooth, and does exactly what Covergirl claims; it keeps your lashes apart. Only two of my lashes clumped together (these two are just problematic and always clump, I think they are just too close). Overall, this mascara does what it claims. 

The two photos above show both the Lash-blast Fusion and Clump Crusher on my left eye. I wanted to use the same exact lashes in attempt to be more precise in pointing out the differences. You may be thinking they look exactly the same, but look very closely. The Lash-blast has many more clumps,although it still appears to have a thicker appearance. With the Clump Crusher you can see all my smaller lashes more defined, and less clumped together(ironically). 

OVERALL, I think you can get away using either one and still have a great set of lashes. Personally I choose Clump Crusher, I prefer less clumpy lashes whether or not it really makes a difference. I also prefer the brush and application of the Clump Crusher over Lash-blast, it just felt much smoother.

Side notes: Both mascaras were purchased by me, at my local CVS. Both are the very black color and waterproof. One coat of mascara was used during both applications, and none was applied to the bottom lashes.
